Mountain Meadow Massacre | It was a series of attacks that resulted in the mass murder of 120 members of the Baker Rancher emigrant wagon train. They were on their way from Arkansas to California. These were very tense moments for the Mormons in Utah, due to the conflicts between US Government and the Mormons. The members were mistaken for enemies and were killed by the Mormons in the area of The Mountain Meadows in Southern Utah. |
