Andrew Young was a politician , ambassador, and civil rights activist. He began his career as a pastor . He was involved in many movements such as as the ST Augustine Movement and Selma Movement. he was a negotiator during the civil rights campaign in Birmingham. He was with Martin Luther King in Memphis when he was assassinated. President Jimmy Carter appointed him as the United States ambassador of the United Nations.
