Was President from 1923 to 1929
He was the only President born on the Independence Day
He became the President after the death of Harding, since he was his Vice President
He was the Governor of Massachusetts before being the President
He was visiting his family in Vermont (Homestead) when Harding died. He was inaugurated ( took oath) by his dad who was a notary
In 1926, he only granted citizenship to all Native Americans
The Great Mississippi Flood of 1927 happened during his Presidency. Though he did not take any action initially, later he made Herbert Hoover the head of the commission for food relief, who did an amazing job
He died suddenly at his home in Northampton, MA in 1933
