President from 1913 to 1921
He was the only US President with a Ph. D degree
He was the President of Princeton University and Governor of New Jersey, before becoming the President
During the start of World War 1, he wanted US to remain neutral. But after the Zimmerman telegram incident, US entered the war
He was instrumental for the start of the League of Nations
He suffered a stroke in October 1919 and could barely function as a president. All decisions were made by his close associates including his wife. There was no legislation at that time to replace dysfunctional president
He initially opposed Woman Suffrage and voting rights in 1911. But in 1918 he supported providing voting rights in 1918. It was finally passed in 1919 leading o 19th Amendment in 1920
